Coffeemakers from 1986
1986
This is the year of Maradona’s phenomenon and Chernobyl disaster; in Brescia some friends drew a ranking about the most famous Italian products in the world. Into the list in addition to pizza, pasta and fashion, they recognize Espresso as one of the leading actors. G.A.T. SpA was established with that goal: to spread the espresso cult all over the world.
1990
During those years long the worldwide geopolitics changes faster and faster.
Gorbačëv is the new secretary of the Communist Party in Soviet Union, he uses the word “Glasnost” as meaning of a clearer way to transfer information through the USSR. G.A.T. in that times, launches a new moka to the market called “Glasnost”, its main feature is transparency.
1995
G.A.T. introduces the aluminum coffee makers production to complete the stainless steel one started 10 years before. Klassica is the first to be born, with its well-known traditional shape.
2001
G.A.T. moves to Cazzago San Martino, in Brescia province its current headquarters. In the same year it develops an electric coffee maker project for a famous brand of Italian household appliance.
Over one million units are produced during that year as so as in the following ones.
2009
Through the world renewal there is a new way to prepare espresso.
The coffee pod becomes more and more popular and G.A.T engineers a special moka adapter to use with ESE 44 universal pod; taking care of the environment and eco-sustainability.
2015
According to the wide experience achieved through the electric and electronic coffee makers production, GATPUCCINO was born.
This household appliance is composed by an electric coffee maker and a milk frother placed on the same platform. Just cappuccino, latte macchiato and hot chocolate.
